For older adults, neighbors, and families
Need a hand? Start with a simple request.
You do not have to be low-income to ask. Tell us what is happening and what would help. We will review your request, ask any needed follow-up questions, and let you know whether a volunteer or another local resource may be a fit.
What our neighbors may help with
- Grocery shopping or grocery pickup
- Pharmacy pickup
- Friendly check-in calls and neighbor connection
- Connecting with a food pantry or community partner
- Helping you identify a next step after returning home from the hospital
What we cannot provide: rides or transportation, in-home care, medical or nursing care, personal care, emergency response, or guaranteed help. If you need urgent help, call 911. For non-emergency care coordination, contact the Billerica Council on Aging or MassOptions.
Privacy and dignity
Every request is a person, not a checklist.
We ask only for information needed to understand your request and follow up. Please do not share someone else’s private details without their permission. Community Caregivers US volunteers are neighbors, not emergency responders or health-care providers.
We do not require a person to be low-income to contact us. We review what is needed, what our volunteers can safely offer, and whether another service is a better fit.
